Saga of Valor & Supreme Sacrifice

On 8 November 2020 in the Machhal sector near the LoC, Captain Ashutosh Kumar spotted Pakistani infiltrators breaking through bad weather. Leading a Ghatak team, he engaged the terrorists in close combat, killed one hostile infiltrator, and despite being hit by multiple rounds, ensured the infiltration attempt was thoroughly thwarted.
